Electric Blanket

Our 33 year old heater finally gave up last Sunday. Since then, we're been using portable heater in both bedrooms and in the living room. It seems that the heat wasn't enough. The kids kept waking up in the middle of the night because they're cold. It's still cold in our bedroom so we use an electric blanket. Too bad, the kids can't use electric blanket so they have to suffer :( I felt sorry for them. Hopefully everything will be back to normal pretty soon. The repair guy has been working on it for four (4) days now.

  1. These items should not be sold. Very dangerous. It is not generally known that they give off electro-magnetic radiation, and being in close proximity it is intensified. Granny slippers electrically heated and joined used to be sold in the fifties. NOT ANY MORE for the same reason.

  2. I grew up using but once my mom started cleaning for a 'disaster cleanup' company I quit. They typically cleaned up after housefires, floods that sort of thing and one housefire they cleaned up after was started by a short in a brand new electric blanket. I'll stick with flannel sheets and plenty of blankets from now on.
